Jon Banner, that's been the executive producer of ABC’s World News for eight years, is shifting with a senior executive producer role to supervise special bigger initiatives at ABC News, division leader Ben Sherwood introduced today. He'll be transformed as Air of World News Tonight With Diane Sawyer by senior producer Michael Corn. Sherwood revealed what is the news inside an email, saying of Banner, “Given Jons deep associations over the organization, his formidable understanding in the news business and also the can-do spirit, he'll be considered a bulldozer inside our drive to unite this organization getting a typical voice and mission. Jon may even continue just like a leader for that 2012 political coverage and special events.” Corn and Sherwood labored together on Hello America.
